Marcher Apple Network courses

What’s On?

The Marcher Apple Network tries to include details of all relevant events within the Marcher Counties and the more significant national events. Courses, however, are listed separately. If you are organising or know of a forthcoming event which you think should be included here then please contact the Webmaster. If you spot an error would you also please let the Webmaster know so a correction can be made.

Courses

Courses run by Marcher Apple Network (MAN).

During the covid-19 pandemic we have no courses scheduled.

Events

As regular readers will know, we normally publish an extensive list of all the major apple events happening each autumn across the Marches area.  We know how much hard work goes into organising them, often by volunteers.  These are important occasions when people get together, have the opportunity to see a whole range of apple varieties and, in some cases, bring along apples for ID.  Marcher Apple Network have been present at many of these shows for many years, and it is here that we have spread the word about our work, made new friends, recruited members, raised income from sales and come across for the first time some of the less usual apple varieties that can now be found in our museum collections.

Please note that, although a very limited number of events may take place this year, we regret that MAN’s apple identifiers will not be in attendance on this occasion.

We’d like to bring you up to date with what we know about plans for this year’s events at the time of going to press with Apples and Pears.

As we go to press, just two events are hoping to go ahead although they may look a little different from their usual format.  Please use the contact information to check to confirm and for details nearer the time.
